Makeup and Hair styling for Boudoir

One question that gets asked a lot is whether having make and hair done is an option for boudoir photoshoots. 

The answer is YES! 

Not only does having makeup and hair done help give your portraits a polished look, but being pampered a bit before your session can help you relax and feel fantastic! 

That being said, it’s not required! I have clients that prefer a more natural clean face look, and that is just as beautiful.  It really is a personal preference!

Having your makeup and hair done is the best way to relax into your session and feel totally pampered! 

When you look good, you feel good and it can give a little confidence boost to start off your boudoir photoshoot.

Our goal with makeup for boudoir sessions is to enhance your natural features and add a bit of drama, if that’s what you’re after! 

Your stylist will ask you questions to make sure we’re on the same page when it comes to your final look. 

How should you wear your hair?

For boudoir photoshoots, loose curls or waves always looks good! 

And just a tiny bit messy or at least not perfectly polished is always great for a natural look.
