What to Wear for a Plus Size Boudoir Photoshoot

First of all, I’d like to make one thing clear: I’m not really a fan of the term “plus size”. 

It seems outdated.  I’m using it here to make this searchable for anyone who might be looking to do a boudoir session and needing ideas on what to wear.  We all know that the beauty industry has historically catered to a smaller size look, and it can be more difficult to find outfit ideas if you don’t fit that mold.

Here’s the good news: There are no rules! 

You can wear whatever you want!  Whatever makes you feel good.  Whatever makes you feel sexy. 

There is no standard of beauty in this studio.  There is no judgment.  I’m here to help you figure out looks that will make you feel like a million bucks.  Your size has nothing to do with it. 

You are your own standard of beauty and your boudoir session will be designed to highlight your features. 

Embrace your curves!

I love photographing curvy women! Your curves add to your beauty.  Enhancing curves is a huge part of posing for boudoir and if your photographer knows what they’re doing, posing for curves is a breeze!
