And, no, you are not too old for a boudoir session!

I’ve talked about this before as part of my Redefining Beautiful series (you can check it out here!), but it’s time we did away with these outdating ways of thinking about or describing older women. 

I’m only using the term “mature” here because it happens to be one of the highest used searches for boudoir.

And I want any woman looking online to know that this studio celebrates women in every age and stage of life! 

I hate to think that women miss out on the experience of a boudoir photoshoot because they think they’re “too old”. 

Heartbreaking… and just not true.   

Something I want every woman to know: Your beauty does not expire! 

What do I wear as an older woman for a boudoir session?

Whatever the hell you want!  We throw the “rules” out the window. You do you.  That’s what’s beautiful. 

If you’ve just recently found me, this might be news to you, but stick around for a bit and you’ll see a theme…

My motto is:  You are your own standard of beauty. 

You are not beautiful in comparison to anyone else. 

You are beautiful because you exist.

What about makeup and hairstyling for older women?

If makeup and hairstyling is something you’d like before your session, you are in good hands! 

Our stylists are experienced working with all ages and will give you a bit of glam! 

Enhancing your features and a little bit of extra pampering all in one! 

For boudoir a loose curl or wave and not quite perfectly polished generally looks amazing, but we’ll make sure your hair is just how you want for the look you’re going for!

Do you offer retouching for boudoir photoshoots?

Yes!  Professional retouching is something included in all photoshoots! 

To be honest, amazing lighting is super flattering, minimizing shadows that highlight wrinkles and other areas you might not want showcased.

And anything that’s not permanently a part of you, like blemishes, redness, blotchiness, etc. goes away!
