Boudoir is for all women and while the term plus size is not one I love using, it’s a term that used to search for the right photographer and I want to show up for women of all shapes and sizes.
So in this blog post I want to highlight the beauty of women with curves! Boudoir is not limited to any size or type of woman. It’s something I think every woman should experience.
To me, boudoir is a way to celebrate our innate beauty. A way to see yourself in a new light. It’s easy to get caught up in focusing on what we see as our “flaws”.
A boudoir session is a way to shift our focus from see ourselves as less than to seeing ourselves a beautiful work of art.
And guess what?
Your size doesn’t play into this. AT ALL!

A boudoir photoshoot can be such a transformative experience.
In our day-to-day life, it’s easy to get so busy putting everyone else first we forget to take time to take care of ourselves.
We can start to feel not good enough.
A boudoir session is a chance to take a moment to see yourself differently.
With a little intention, we create a space where you can lay down the judgments you might otherwise hold yourself to and see yourself as the gorgeous work of art you are.
Your true self, as you are, is so beautiful.
It’s just that we don’t normally take the time to see ourselves this way.

And it doesn’t have to be lingerie, if you’re not into lingerie. There’s a perfect look for everyone and we’ll help you figure it out if you’re not sure!
Doing something new can feel scary, but the truth of the matter is that these sessions are a ton of fun!

One of the biggest hesitations I hear about doing a boudoir photoshoot is “I don’t know how to pose”.
Again, I’ve got you!
Throughout your entire photoshoot, I’ll guide and direct you through posing that is flattering to you and in-line with the vision for your session to create the looks you love.
So no worries at all! We’ll talk about it beforehand so if there’s anything you want to highlight or minimize, you got it!
