Christa and Maybelline | New Braunfels Pet Portraits

Oh la la!  I’m so happy to share these portraits!  Christa was gifted this session by a friend as a way to celebrate her pup Maybelline, who’s thirteen years old now and not quite as spritely as she was once.  Christa’s had Maybelline since she was a puppy and the two go everywhere together.  Maybelline is the sweetest dog, and it was such a delight photographing these two! 

I’m always talking about existing in photographs and this is exactly what I mean.  Taking a moment to get in the frame and celebrate relationships, to capture them for all time in portraits.  Portraits are so powerful because they outlast us.  One day they will be your most prized possessions.
