Boudoir FAQ | New Braunfels Boudoir Photographer
Do you have a lot of questions about booking a boudoir photoshoot?
Like most women, I’m sure you have some hesitations or things you’re not sure about.
I want to make the entire experience as comfortable as possible and that all starts with open communication!
I’m always here to answer any questions and here I’ll share a few of the most frequently asked questions I hear about boudoir sessions.
What to wear for a boudoir photoshoot?
You can wear whatever you want!
Really, if you feel beautiful in it, wear it!
There aren’t any rules when it comes to what looks to try for your session.
While lingerie is a really popular look for boudoir, it’s not the only option.
There are tons of different looks and styles and I can help you figure out a gameplan if you don’t even know where to start.
From modest to more risque, whatever you’re comfort level, we can find the perfect looks for your boudoir session.
How to pose for boudoir?
The good news is you do not have to know what to do or how to pose!
It’s my job to direct and guide you through all posing so you won’t have a thing to worry about.
If you have features you want highlighted (or minimized) we’ll talk about it during the planning and the posing for your photoshoot will help to achieve the looks you want along with the lighting and styling.
My years of experience working with all shapes and sizes of women is something I’m proud to be able to offer every single client.
Is retouching included in my boudoir session?
Yes, retouching is included with every boudoir session!
Anything that is not permanently a part of you goes away.
Any blemishes, redness, blotchiness, stray hair, etc. disappears, so if you wake up the morning of your session with acne, no worries!
Plus, the lighting used is so flattering, you’re gonna look like a million bucks!
I never use retouching to change body shape or form; that’s not the goal here.
The posing and lighting will be flattering, but just to be clear, we’re not trying to make you into anything you’re not, you’re beautiful as you are!
