Boudoir Can Be Modest | New Braunfels, Texas Boudoir Photographer
Want to do a boudoir photoshoot but not looking to bare it all?
Your boudoir session doesn’t have to be nude or even implied nude.
In fact, your boudoir session can be more on the modest side if you’d like.
There’s no rule saying your boudoir session has to include anything you don’t want.
It’s your photoshoot and it will be tailored to you!
Ideas for a modest boudoir look
Maybe you’re more comfortable with outfits that are a bit more modest for a boudoir session, or you just want to have a variety of looks for your photoshoot.
One idea for a look that’s more modest is an oversized sweater (think off the shoulder) or a t-shirt (maybe your or your partner’s favorite t-shirt).
Another idea is a gorgeous slip or silky robe.
One of my very favorite boudoir sets for this is the white sheet set.
It works so well because everyone looks like a million bucks in this set and we can adapt it to cater to a modest look or a risqué look and everything in-between.
Boudoir as a celebration of who you are
The way I do boudoir comes down to this – there is no standard of beauty.
You are your own standard of beauty.
We do not compare ourselves to anyone else here.
Your boudoir photoshoot is a celebration of YOU, your form, your exquisite beauty.
If you prefer a look that’s not baring it all or more subtly alluring, then that’s what we’re going for.
Whatever the look and style you like, is what your boudoir session will be, not what anyone else thinks it should be.
A modest boudoir look for variety and depth
There is profound beauty found in simplicity. Less fanfare can indeed be more.
Lingerie and lace and frills is gorgeous and sensual.
But so is highlighting the subtle innate sensuality in each and every person.
Through beautiful lighting, understated poses, and minimalistic settings, your timeless allure, authenticity and natural grace of just being yourself resonates profoundly and creates truly gorgeous portraits.
Will my boudoir photos be shared?
Your boudoir photos will NEVER be shared unless you give permission.
Is your desire for a more modest look because you don’t want your boudoir photos shared?
I completely and 100% understand this and unless you give permission, your session will not be shared online.
Boudoir is for every body!
I don’t want anyone to think they can’t do a boudoir session if they don’t opt for lingerie or some level of nudity. Nothing could be further from the truth. Your boudoir session will be tailored just for you.
