5 Reasons Not to Be Nervous for Your Boudoir Photoshoot

If it’s your first time doing a boudoir photoshoot, it’s totally natural to feel a little nervous!

You’ll see that after it’s over, there really wasn’t anything to be nervous about.

Until then, here’s five reasons not to be nervous for your boudoir photoshoot.

Reason #1 Not to be nervous for your boudoir photoshoot…

While it’s normal to be a bit nervous before a boudoir session, you’ll realize as soon as you arrive to the studio, just how laid back it really is.

You’ll find out, a boudoir session at my studio is not this intimidating thing, more like hanging out with a friend.

My goal for every session is for you to feel comfortable and at-home.

This is a no-judgement zone and we don’t take ourselves too seriously here!

This is a place where you can just be yourself.

There’s a lot of laughing during a boudoir photoshoot!

And music!

At least in my studio.  Again, we don’t take ourselves too seriously and the goal is to have a good time.

The gorgeous photos are a result of exactly that!

Even the very serious and sultry looks happen in-between laughs.

Seriously, these sessions are a lot of fun!

When you show up for your photoshoot, you’ll know what to expect.

We plan out all of your looks/outfits ahead of time and map out the styles you want so that you already have an idea of what the photoshoot will look like.

You’ll know what to bring with you and won’t have to worry about any details the day of your session.  You just get to show up and have fun!

You do not need to know how to pose!

I will guide you and direct you in all posing throughout the entire photoshoot!

This is a huge relief for my clients since posing for boudoir is not something you probably do on a regular basis.

I’ll give direction the entire time, so you don’t have to know what to do!

You don’t have to do your own Makeup & Hairstyling!

You can choose to have makeup and hair styling done at the studio before your session!

Some clients love the extra pampering and not having to worry about how to style their own makeup and hair.

The stylists I work with are amazing!  And they’ll work with your ideas to bring the looks you want to life.

And if you’re not sure how you want your makeup and hair, we’ll help you figure that out before your session.

I hop you see now there’s no reason to be nervous for your boudoir photoshoot!

Even after these five tips I’ve shared, if you are still feeling nervous, be sure to send me a message.  I’d love to talk with you more to help calm your nerves or talk through any hesitations!
