With a Joyful Heart

Joy | Week 51 of Project 52           

Well. Can you believe this year is almost over?!  The theme for this week was “Photographer’s Choice”, and the only thing that kept coming to mind was “Joy”. 

That being said, this week has not been easy.  There’s been stress and being apart from my other half.  But when I think about wrapping up this year, it is with joy.  I am blessed and grateful for everything in my life.  Even when things do not go as smoothly as we’d like, there is still joy.  And beauty, always.  And countless things for us to offer thanks. 

My home and life are filled with love and peace and understanding and joy, and for that I am eternally grateful. 

Holding a camera in my hand brings me unimaginable joy.  The people I’ve met and photographed bring me so much joy and happiness!  Being able to capture their own beauty and show it back to them… there’s nothing I can imagine doing that would bring me more joy! 

And that, my friends, is another year in the books.  I wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and an Oh So Happy New Year!!!
